Cutting high ground, filling low ground, and establishing the pitch a property needs so rain runs away from structures instead of toward them. This is the step that decides whether everything built afterward works.
Finish grading and yard leveling
The difference between ground that is technically level and a yard you can actually mow. We finish-grade for seed and sod, feather grades into existing lawn, and leave a surface that drains without ruts, humps, or soggy pockets.
Fixing ground that was never right
Plenty of Indiana yards were rough-graded by a builder in a hurry twenty years ago and never touched again. Standing water, washouts, and foundation-hugging slopes are all fixable, and usually in a day or two of machine work.
