Every building in Indiana is only as good as the pad under it. A proper pad is cut to virgin ground, built back in compacted lifts, and finished level and high enough to keep the structure dry for its whole life. We build pads for pole barns, houses, shops, and grain systems, and we build them like the building inspector is standing behind us.

The classic Indiana project. Stripped, built up in compacted lifts, and finished with the right stone so posts set true and floors pour flat. Talk to us before you order the building; pad-first scheduling saves money.
Structural pads where compaction is not optional. We coordinate with builders and can work with soil testing when engineering requires it.
Level, drained, and sized for the real use, including the aprons and approaches that keep a shop usable in February instead of an island in the mud.
Bins demand flat, uniform, well-drained support. We build pads that keep augers turning and grain dry, along with the lanes and approaches serving them.
It depends on size, how much your ground rises and falls, and stone depth. Site visits and quotes are free, and pads are one of our most-quoted projects statewide.
High enough that water never wins: typically above surrounding grade with the fall shaped away in every direction. Exact height depends on your site, and it is one of the things we get right that cheap pads get wrong.
Before the building is scheduled, with time for the pad to prove itself through weather. The worst pad stories all start with a building crew arriving next week.
Most projects touch more than one trade. Same call, same standard.
